Social Studies Teacher
Riverside Christian Academy, a PS-12th grade private school in Fayetteville, NC, is seeking a dedicated Social Studies Teacher who will develop and implement engaging lesson plans while fostering a Christ-centered learning environment. The ideal candidate will integrate biblical principles throughout the curriculum while maintaining high academic standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Required)
- Valid Teaching Certification (Required)
- 3 years of teaching experience (Required)
- Strong Christian faith and commitment to Christian education
- Ability to integrate biblical principles and Christian worldview throughout curriculum
- Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Maintain a Christian-based, nurturing, and professional classroom environment
- Integrate biblical principles and Christian worldview throughout teaching
- Regularly assess student learning and provide timely progress reports
- Participate in professional development and school activities
- Maintain accurate attendance and grade records
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events
Spiritual Requirements
- Have a conviction of being called to Christian school ministry
- Be a Christian witness and role model to students
- Follow Matthew 18 principle in conflict resolution
- Maintain high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity
